Talent Acquisition Administrator (Hybrid)

We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our team. This role will provide support to the Talent Acquisition team with an increasing focus on conducting references and verifications.

Location: Thornhill, ON – Please note that this role is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Complete various types of background checks on candidates.
  • Conduct detailed reference interviews via the phone and email.
  • Contact schools and employers to verify education and employment claims.
  • Create and proof-read reports for clients.
  • Format job descriptions and post them to relevant sites (job boards, company website, social media etc.).
  • Contact potential candidates using a variety of mediums.
  • Schedule interviews with candidates.
  • Complete research on various topics and relay the information in a clear manner.
  • Create and post relevant, well-informed content to the company‚Äôs social media accounts.
  • General administration duties including but not limited to:
    • Receiving and reconciling weekly time sheets for approval
    • Submitting invoices
    • Issuing ROEs
    • Booking meetings and maintaining calendars
    • Ensuring office supplies are at sufficient levels
    • Composing correspondence
    • Running errands as required
    • Drafting Letters of Employment
  • Additional tasks as they occur.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Post secondary education which must include a focus on Human Resources or experience working in the Human Resources field.
  • 2+ years of office/administrative experience.
  • Must be technically savvy including proficient using MS Office Applications and various social media sites.
  • Familiarity with ATS and Asana would be an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Task oriented with a high degree of organization.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Works with minimal supervision and must be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities at once.
