Responsibilities:
- Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to: account preparation, bank reconciliations, preparation of financial statement analysis, cash receipts entry and reconciliation, rent collection
- Prepare monthly reporting package including variance commentary
- Set up leases in JD Edwards
- Review, approve and generate monthly rent rolls.
- Prepare various tenant account statements as required
- Management of tenant A/R, collections and arrears notices
- Calculate leasing commissions due to Corporate and prepare related
- Maintain billing activity for new leases, renewals, expansions and additional contracts.
- Complete credit applications as requested by supplier
- Prepare and post recurring entries
- Prepare and post manual accruals resulting from income statement analysis
- Prepare and record monthly operating costs and tax recovery estimates.
- Prepare and record monthly FASB/Straight line rent adjustments as required
- Analyze balance sheet accounts and maintain working papers
- Assist in the preparation of final annual operating costs and tax recovery adjustments, including preparing CAM audit statements.
- Prepare required analysis for interim and year-end audits.
- Assist in completion of the annual property budgets.
- Assist management in the preparation of various ad hoc reporting.
- Ensure adherence to the system of internal control established to provide accurate financial reporting and safeguarding of assets.
- Other duties as requested by management
Qualifications:
- University or College diploma and/or relevant years of experience
- JD Edwards or other Property Management ERP
- Strong customer service focus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook
- Bilingual (English and French) – asset
