Our client company is currently looking to fill an Assistant Resident Manager (Live-In) position for a portfolio of residential building(s) in Richmond.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working with the management team and will be the first to respond to extreme emergencies (major water leaks, fire, etc.). The duties include caretaking and minor maintenance of the building’s interior, the mechanical rooms, the exterior of the building, the interior of all the suites, and the underground garage as well. This role will also be responsible for following and enforcing rental policies, renting units, issuing notices, completing condition reports, and collecting and depositing rent.
Suitable candidates must have 3-5 years of property administration and/or residential management experience and be familiar with the Residential Tenancy Act. Candidates should possess the ability to collaborate with management and develop and sustain cooperative work relationships with vendors, external contacts, tenants, and staff. On top of these requirements, candidates should possess strong time management and organizational skills, have the ability to handle multiple demands, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
